Tyler Borth has been on a tear at The Raceway at Western Fair District as he controls the headlines from the London, Ont. oval. On Tuesday, Nov. 28, he returned to the spotlight once again with five wins on the evening card.
Drinkin Buddy ($3.30) was the first steer to victory of the evening for Borth in race two. He sped home with the Heather Pickett trainee to win by 1-3/4 lengths in 1:58.2 over Dirty Lil Piglet (Dan Clements) and Shanghai Ky (Lorne House). Four-year-old Drinkin Buddy is owned by Heather & Rick Pickett and recorded his seventh win of the season and eighth career tally.
Returning for his second picture in a row, the Ingersoll, Ont. resident and I Loved Her First ($4.40) overcame post eight to win by 1-1/2 lengths in 2:00.1 for trainer Mike Timpano.
In race five, Borth and Bettors Victory ($3.20) went gate-to-wire to win by three-quarters of a length in 1:57.2 for trainer Jason Sherman.
