The Hambletonian Society/Breeders Crown Standardbred Poll had not seen any movement in its Top 10 during the month of November – that was until the Week 27 results were announced.
There has been no change to the top end of the weekly results. McWicked still sits atop the pile (with 341 overall points) and is followed by Shartin N (321) and Atlanta (236), respectively, after the Week 27 vote tally.
The most notable change in the Week 27 results has come from three-year-old Tactical Landing, the Jimmy Takter-trained son of Muscle Hill. The $800,000 yearling sale purchase has moved from tenth to seventh on the poll. The bay colt has been solid after his break of stride in the final of the Kentucky Futurity. He shrugged off the Lexington miscue and went on to sweep his Breeders Crown elimination and final at The Downs at Mohegan Sun Pocono. He was strong in victory this past weekend while capturing the $350,000 TVG Free For All Trot in 1:51.4 at the Meadowlands Racetrack.

The rankings are based on the votes of harness racing media representatives on a 10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1 basis.
The Hambletonian Society/Breeders Crown poll does not determine Horse of the Year. The U.S. Harness Writers Association votes in December on all Dan Patch Award division winners plus Trotter of the Year, Pacer of the Year and Horse of the Year. The Dan Patch Awards are separate from the O'Brien Awards, which recognize Canada's top Standardbreds of a given racing season.
