Grand Circuit stakes-winning trotter Southwind Coors sold for six figures in an online auction on Tuesday afternoon, Nov. 26.
Fresh off a victory last night at Woodbine Mohawk Park, the Matt Bax-trained four-year-old trotter Southwind Coors sold for $200,000 ($144,000 USD). According to onGait.com, the winning bidder was Ron Burke and Weaver Bruscemi LLC as BWB Racing.
The Walner-Southwind Cabaret gelding took his lifetime mark of 1:52s winning last year's Goodtimes Trot. The Hambletonian starter sports a career summary reading 10-10-3 from 45 races and banked more than $420,000 for previous owners Bax Stable, Glengate Farms, David Hudson and Craig Wilson.
