Former O’Brien Award winner JM Vangogh added to his already impressive resume by registering the 59th win of his career in a Wednesday evening trotting assignment
at Dover Downs.
With Ron Pierce at the helm, the nine-year-old son of Earl-Queen Tut rallied to win in 1:56.1 over Impel Hanover and Fivedollarsforsox in the $22,000 Jr. Open Trot.
Trainer Paul Chamber co-owns JM Vangogh with Laurieta Mello of Groveland, MA. They watched the charismatic performer’s bankroll jump to $2,182,970 with the victory. It was his eighth win of the campaign in just 25 trips postward.
