Bundoran posted an 11-1 upset as she defeated pacesetter Katherine B and even-money favourite Hp Sissy at the wire in the featured $10,000 Fillies & Mares Preferred 2 & 3 Pace at Flamboro Downs on Wednesday night (November 23).

Driver J Harris sent the five-year-old daughter of Somebeachsomewhere on the attack from third at the :56.4 half-mile mark and reeled in leader Katherine B (Alfie Carroll) on the way to the three-quarters in 1:26.3. The top pair battled the rest of the way, with Bundoran ultimately persevering in 1:56.3 by a neck over Katherine B while the pocket-riding sophomore filly Hp Sissy (Bob McClure) finished less than a length behind in the passing lane.

Bundoran earned her third win of the year and second in six starts since joining the stable of Joe Pereira in late-September. She paid $24 to win.
