Omen Hanover knocked off six foes and photoed out two of them to take home top prize in Tuesday’s $26,000 Fillies and Mares Open Handicap at Dover Downs

Leaving from Post 6, Tim Tetrick hustled Omen Hanover to immediate command, and the Nicholas Surick-trained daughter of Western Hanover-Oohs N Aahs sliced out splits of :27, :55.4 and 1:23.2 en route to the nose decision over Not Enough in an impressive clocking of 1:52. Third place finisher, Spoiled Beach, was just a neck behind the winner.

Sent off as the even-money choice in the seven-mare affair, Omen Hanover won for the twelfth time this season and for the 31st time in her career. KDM Stables Corp of Farmingdale, NY owns the career winner $726,019.
