It happened over a month ago, but many in the Ontario harness racing industry are just learning now that Hanover Raceway has parted ways with its longtime general manager, Gord Dougan.
According to multiple reports, Hanover relieved Dougan of his duties, effective October 13.
The move came as part of a review of the position, according to Premium HR Solutions.
Dougan was very visible at the track during his 13-year run as the raceway’s GM and endeared himself to race patrons.
