His Boy Elroy wore down pacesetter Allstar Man to win the afternoon's featured ninth race at Truro Raceway and complete a training triple on Sunday (November 20) for Bernard McCallum while Surrealist's streak came to an end.
McCallum sent out winners Brookdale Fletcher ($5.40) and Pictonians Derbie ($32.30) in the first two races before His Boy Elroy ($4) prevailed by a neck in the $1,475 Winners Over Pace in 1:57.1.
His Boy Elroy, a four-year-old son of Jeremes Jet, has finished no worse than second in his last seven starts at Truro for owner Dan MacRae of Baddeck, N.S.
Surrealist, who was riding a 13-race win streak, finished third.
