Trainer Earl Watts swept the Donnie & George Turner Memorial Stakes for three-year-olds on a rainy Sunday afternoon at Truro Raceway as Arties Magic and Lovineveryminute each won their respective $12,932 divisions.

Arties Magic ($6.60) and Lovineveryminute ($3.10), both co-owned by Windemere Farms of North Wiltshire, P.E.I., used different tactics to achieve the same result over the track rated "good" with a two second variant.

With Todd Trites at the lines, Atlantic Breeders Crown champion Arties Magic circled the field in the first division to prevail over race leader Absolootly Hot by three-quarters of a length in 1:59.3. The favoured first over challenger, Super S Yzerman, rounded out the top three finishers two lengths behind.

Lovineveryminute, driven by Kenny Arsenault, later went wire-to-wire in 2:00.3 as the odds-on favourite, winning by two and a quarter lengths over Mappos Moenhay and Tobins Fusion.

The Windemere Farms-bred gelding Arties Magic (Articulator-Drop Of Magic) is also owned by Clive Balderston of Moncton, N.B. and earned the ninth win of his 14-race sophomore campaign while pushing his earnings to $47,625.

Lovineveryminute was back in action after missing the Lady Slipper Gold Stakes and Atlantic Breeders Crown due to sickness. She picked up her eighth win of the season in 16 starts and boosted her earnings to $56,411. The Western Paradise-Deliver Me filly is also shared in ownership by breeder River Valley Management and Lana Murphy of Quispamsis, N.B.
