The horses returned to Dundas, Ont.'s Flamboro Downs on Wednesday, November 2 after a month-long hiatus
.
“It is nice to see the horses on the track again,” said the track's general manager, John Stolte. “We’re looking forward to a busy holiday season.”
Today was also the day Flamboro Downs presented the Juravinski Cancer Centre Foundation its cheque for $11,046.84.
The money was raised back in June at the Ellamony Classic, an annual fundraiser for the new Breast Assessment Centre at the Juravinski Hospital and Cancer Centre.
