Enchanted Mission and leading driver Marc St. Louis Jr. captured the featured $10,800 Open Trot on Friday night (Nov. 18) at Northville Downs.
Following early leaders Major Al Mar and Kody Massey past the quarter in :28.2, Enchanted Mission took over the lead from there and never looked back, cruising to a half-length victory over a hard-charging runner-up I Get It and driver Bob Rowland in a final clocking of 1:58.3.
The win was Enchanted Mission’s 12th of 2022 and the 24th of his career. The eight-year-old son of Manofmanymissions now has lifetime earnings of $181,596. Enchanted Mission is owned by Dr. Joshua Tanis and trained by Danielle St. Louis.
The night’s leaders were Kody Massey with three driving wins, Winter Asher-Stalbaum with two wins as a driver, trainer and owner, and Paul Cloer Jr. with a training grand slam. Owner Lases Racing had three wins on the night as well, all of which were in partnership with trainer Cloer and driver Massey.
Live racing resumes at Northville Downs on Saturday (Nov. 19) at 7:30 p.m. Northville Downs races every Friday and Saturday night from now through Dec. 17.
