Seven-Year-Old Stays Undefeated

Dream Our Way, the undefeated seven-year-old son of Dream Away, made it four in a row with an explosive move on the backside for driver Wayne Long

in his $2,000 Live And Earn Late Closer division on Friday at Rosecroft Raceway.

Dream Our Way, as is his custom, was away mid-pack and simply erupted with pace after a 1:02.4 half to score in 2:00.2 by 12 lengths.

Dream Our Way is trained by John Wilkerson for patient owner Joan Breeding, who allowed his pacer four years to recover from an injury and has been awarded with a promising start. The bay gelding looms as the prohibitive favourite in the $4,650 final of the Learn And Earn Late Closer next Friday night.

E. Andy Savage’s three-year-old DVC Hipnjazzy went down the road to win the first division of the Learn And Earn in 1:59.4 by over seven lengths with Justin Vincent at the controls.

The Magical Mike colt has been improving each week since moving into the Savage barn, who is ably assisted by daughter Carolin, and has started five times earning a cheque in four of those races. The win was his first in 21 career starts.
