Although it was announced earlier this year that stallion Broadway Hall would be staying in Pennsylvania for the 2015 breeding season, those plans were clearly not etched in stone.
In August, Global Farm of Sweden announced that they had purchased Broadway Hall from Fashion Farms LLC and would be keeping the stallion in Pennsylvania.
This past Friday, Midland Acres of Ohio announced the addition of Broadway Hall to its 2015 stallion ranks.
"With the new rejuvenation of the Ohio program, Ohio is a great place to have a proven Grand Circuit sire like Broadway Hall, who will offer great value for Ohio breeders and beyond with Midland Acres," said the farm in a release.
Broadway Hall was voted the 2002 Dan Patch two-year-old Trotting Colt of the Year and was undefeated in nine lifetime starts.
A proven Grand Circuit sire from 477 starters, he is the sire of 276 in 2:00, 55 in 1:55 with earnings in excess of $31.7 million, Broadway Hall is the sire of Hambletonian winner Broad Bahn 3,1:53 ($1,553,211), Action Broadway 4,1:52.3 ($1,061,388) and Breeders Crown runner-up Frau Blucher ($947,992).
