The winning streak is now two-in-a-row and counting for OSS graduate Future Million, who showed no mercy to the foes he faced in Flamboro Downs’ feature on Thursday

afternoon.

Sent off as the 4-5 favourite in the $12,000 tilt, Future Million and driver Paul MacKenzie slid into the two-hole while Risky Rich rolled to the motor and carved out early fractions of :27.2 and :57.1. Future Million tipped off the rail and went into attack mode in the backstretch, and after parking to the three-quarter pole in 1:25.1 he drew away to win by 6-3/4 lengths over Risky Rich in an eye-catching clocking of 1:54. Winter Blues took home the third prize.

John Smith, Jr. trains the homebred for owners Don and Kerry Lowes of Princeton, ON. The four-year-old son of Million Dollar Cam-Future Champion, who is 6-for-21 this season, is now an 11-time winner with purse earnings in excess of $326,000.
