Trainer-driver Wayne MacLean put forth a flawless performance on track Wednesday night at Sudbury Downs.
With the odds stacked against him, the resident of Chelmsford, Ont. went three-for-three during the
10-race program with his pupils Canaco Pop ($15.20) in the opener, Oaklea Rico ($21.20) in the fifth race, and Ima Good Affaweet ($9.20) in the seventh event.
MacLean's training triple pushed his win totals to 29 for 2010 and 424 lifetime. In terms of purse earnings, he has banked over $140,000 so far this year and over $1.6 million lifetime.
