The 2017 edition of the Blooded Horse Sales Co.'s Fall Speed Sale has reached the halfway mark and continues through to Thursday, November 16.
More than 1,200 horses have been catalogued for the sale, taking place at the Delaware County Fairgrounds in Delaware, Ohio.
Through the first two days, yearling Defeat And Repeat has fetched the highest price of the sale. The McArdle - Chica Hanover colt was collared by Kelly O'Donnell for $45,000.
Midwest-based racehorse Fox Valley Inferno will be most likely making his starts on the east coast after being purchased by Delaware-based trainer Kevin Lare for $42,000. The Sportsmaster - Shes Redhot sophomore gelding was entering the sale off a lifetime best 1:51.2 mile at Hoosier Park.
