Driver Corey MacPherson celebrated career win 500 aboard Useful Hanover during the 14-dash program Sunday at Red Shores Racetrack & Casino at the Charlottetown Driving Park.

Jason Sherry of Kensington, P.E.I. is the pacer's owner and was trackside to greet MacPherson, who was making a return to the race bike this weekend after being sidelined for medical reasons.

MacPherson kept the winning streak rolling, coming right back with Unstoppable Speed in race 11 for the ownership group of David and Mitch Tierney, Kelsie and Sterling Buchanan.

All Turain gave MacPherson the hat-trick with a dazzling 1:56.3, 11-length romp in the $2,400 Preferred 2 for local owner/trainer Trevor Hicken. The track was rated sloppy with a three second variant. Forever Paradise finished second with Clic K completing the triactor.

Holy Molie Maggie won the $1,950 Open Trot class by more than three lengths in 2:02.4 for driver Gary Chappell and owner/trainer Jeff Holmes of Orwell Cove, P,E.I. Chappell also returned to the winner’s circle with Milla Road for Zack Conway of Bonshaw, P.E.I.

Jason Hughes and Marc Campbell also recorded driving doubles.
