It was all systems go for Glider Man Saturday afternoon in the $2,350 Open trot as the gelding cruised to victory over a sloppy track at Red Shores Racetrack and Casino at the Charlottetown Driving Park.

David Dowling engineered the front-end victory with Glider Man in 2:01.3 over a track with a three-second variant for conditioner Jennifer Doyle, who co-owns the Yankee Glide five-year-old with Danny Birt of Earnscliffe. Cheeky Little Minx (Gilles Barrieau) was second while race favourite Mile Hill Willie (Kenny Arsenault) recovered from a break in stride to finish third.

Miss Kabana was victorious in the $2,250 featured pace in line to Vincent Poulton for co-owner and trainer Gary Poulton and co-owners Gail MacDonald and Trevor Warren of Charlottetown. Time of the mile was 2:00.1.

Marc Campbell continued his lead in the driving standings as he tripled up on the Saturday card. The Winsloe driver won with Paythelinebluechip (2:01.4) for trainer Jay Noye, La Vie En Rose (2:01.4) for her third straight from the Stacey Lund barn and with Howmac Blaze (2:01.4) in the afternoon finale for trainer Michelle Myers.

Arsenault doubled up as a trainer-driver in maiden breaking scores with Lock Her Up (2:00.1) and Whozat (2:04.4).
