Ticket To Rock (Jody Jamieson) was the early leader through a :27.1 opening quarter, but Rebeka Bayama and regular reinsman Sylvain Filion pulled the pocket down the backstretch and swept to command before the :56.2 half-mile mark.
As the Justin Filion trainee headed to three-quarters in 1:24.1, reigning Horse of the Year Dreamfair Eternal (Chris Christoforou) advanced first up from fourth into second, but couldn't keep up in the stretch and ended up finishing fifth.
Rebeka Bayama cruised home for the one and a half length victory over Ticket To Rock. Bullet Point (Keith Oliver) followed in third to show while early trailer Voelz Hanover (Mario Baillargeon) sprinted into fourth.
Rebeka Bayama paid $3.60 to win as the 4-5 favourite. The four-year-old Leader Bayama mare is owned by breeder Bayama Farms Inc. of Saint-Andre-D'Argenteuil, Que. The win was her sixth in nine seasonal starts and lifted her earnings to $122,040 for 2011 and $225,568 lifetime.
