Roddys Bags Again Fillies Sweep DSBF

Progeny of Roddys Bags Again captured all three $20,000 Delaware Standardbred Breeders Fund preliminary events for two-year-old pacing fillies on Wednesday (Nov. 11) at Dover Downs.

The first division, a non-wagering event, went to Harrington final winner, Stealing Bases, in a new lifetime record of 1:56.3. Tim Tetrick drove the filly out of End To End Hanover to a seven-length win over Delmarvalousdesign and Kittyscribble for trainer Jim King Jr. and owner-breeder JoAnn Looney-King.

The second division produced the maiden win of Hey Hey Dbay in 1:57.1 over Rocks Rose and Seboomook Beauty for driver Victor Kirby. Trainer Bryan Truitt and breeder James Magno share ownership in the filly out of Fat Lady Returns.

The final division went to Littlebagoftricks, who produced a lifetime mark of 1:54.1 and defeated Adrianna and Tobago Time by 6-3/4 lengths in line to Russell Foster. Trainer Josh Green owns the daughter of Bit Of Trick in partnership with Charles Cochran and Richard Lombardo.

The second leg of the Delaware Standardbred Breeders Fund series continues on Monday (Nov. 16) with two-year-old pacing colts and geldings. Post time is 4:30 p.m.
