Post-time favourite Thats It circled three wide circling into the final turn and got a head in front in the $9,000 Fillies and Mares Open at Century Downs on Sunday, Nov. 11.
Wests Lucky Aria inherited the lead from her rail starting spot while Jk Ellem Enoh floated into the pocket from post two. Thats It sat fourth as Wests Lucky Aria paced to a :28.3 opening quarter followed by a :59 half.
Jk Ellem Enoh pulled pocket into the backstretch and edged to a narrow lead approaching three-quarters. Driver Michael Hennessy angled Thats It off the rail to follow but quickly ranged three wide passing the 1:28.1 third quarter. Wests Lucky Aria reemerged on the lead into the lane while Jk Ellem Enoh rerallied from in between horses along with Thats It to her outside. Thats It, widest of the three, slid past to the wire while Wests Lucky Aria took second in a photo from Jk Ellem Enoh in the 1:59 mile.
A four-year-old mare by Dragon Again, Thats It won her eighth race from 35 starts this season and her 17th from 70 overall, earning $160,268. Rod Hennessy trains and co-owns the $2.90 winner for partners Lorne Duffield and Jean Crochetiere.
