Trainer/driver Per Henriksen gave fans the best of both worlds Monday evening at Woodbine Racetrack – a chalky winner and one of the ‘bombs away’ variety.

The popular Tosca clicked for Henriksen in Race 6, and she did so as an even-money favourite. Tosca, a three-year-old daughter of Muscle Mass-Southern Senorita, took over the lead going to the three-quarter pole before using a :28.1 closing quarter to win by a length over My Kid Sister in 1:56.2.

Nowucit Nowudont gave Henriksen the double on the card thanks to his 22-1 upset in Race 9. The five-year-old son of Kadabra-Dibrizzi battle for the lead throughout the mile before using a :29.1 closing quarter to win by a head over Her Name Is Lola in 1:54.4.

Darryl Drain of Tweed and Tor Jan Larsen of Norwood, Ontario own the gelding who is now 4-for-25 this season. The 17-time winner has stashed away earnings totaling $240,838.
