Gendron Wins Five At Rideau

With a boost from the Jamie Copley stable, driver Stephane Gendron dominated at the Rideau Carleton Raceway winning one-third of Friday night's 15 races.

Gendron kicked off the card with three consecutive wins with the Daniel Martin-trained Caroluzzo ($4.10) and Copley stablemates Dirt Track Momma ($4.40) and Aaron Andover ($12.50). Two races later her gave Copley the training triple aboard Lets Make Ideal ($3.70). Gendron completed his five-bagger in the finale with Undersky El Passo ($6.30) for conditioner Brenda Spence.

Among Rideau's top five reinsmen, Gendron has won 184 races this year and 3,702 lifetime.

Driver Truman Gale and trainer Robert Gale combined for a Friday night double as did Simon Allard and Rene Allard. Among the Allards' winners was Noartographsplease, who notched her sixth consecutive victory.
