Harrington Feature To Terror At Night

Nanticoke Racing, Ed Maas and Arlene Paisley's Terror At Night was a 1:53.2 winner in the $15,000 Mares Open Tuesday at Harrington Raceway.

Terror At Night and driver Jim Morand took the lead at the quarter pole from Artrageous through an opening panel of :27.2. It would stay that way through a half-mile in :56.2 and three-quarters in 1:25. In deep stretch, Terror At Night was full of pace and held off the pocket sitter by a half-length. Artrageous was second with Shesarocker third.

Trained by Les Givens, Terror At Night is a daughter of Western Terror and achieved her eighth win of the year. She paid $5.80 to win.

In the sub-featured $11,000 Mares Open II, Rushcreek Stables' Clarebear ($3, Tony Morgan) was a 1:53.3 winner for trainer Sheldon Powell over Springforth and Skateboard Chic.
