A total of 18 well-bred trotting mares, of which nine are in foal to first-crop sensation Lucky Chucky, will be offered in the Perretti Farms final dispersal to Harrisburg.
Lucky Chucky’s initial crop averaged $53,214 at the recently completed Lexington Select Sale, highlighted by the $450,000 accorded for Mr. Lucky Luke, the colt from Graceful Touch
In all, 46 broodmares will be offered, including 28 pacing mares, of which 11 are carrying what will be foals from the last crop of Rocknroll Hanover. Among them will be Classic Star, the full sister to Bettors Delight and Roll With Joe who could well be carrying her long anticipated colt following a pair of fillies.
Other notables include Art Sale, carrying a full brother or sister to Rocklamation, and Sweet Paprika, a sister in blood to Sweet Lou and Bettor Sweet, carrying a Rocknroll Hanover.
The dispersal will also include 35 select weanlings, including Ideal Team Six (American Ideal-Baberhood), the full brother to the undefeated world champion Hes Watching.
Other notables could be Brooklyn Bets (Bettors Delight-Sweet Paprika), a sister in blood to Bettor Sweet: Boston Red Rocks (Rocknroll Hanover –McGibson), the first foal of McGibson; Chuckleberry Finn (Lucky Chucky-Muscling In), a three-quarter brother to Windsong Soprano; Chucket List (Lucky Chucky-Myolin); Hillosophical (Muscle Hill-Quit Foolin Around), from a sister to Fools Goal; and Hock The Rocks (Rocknroll Hanover-Art Sale), a full sister to Rocklamation.
All may be viewed at the main farm prior to arriving at Harrisburg on November 7.
