Archer Takes Three At Rideau

Trainer Mandy Archer celebrated a three-win performance Thursday evening at Rideau Carleton Raceway, and it was a training triple that fell into the ‘natural hat trick’ category.

Archer watched Double Down Duke rally for a 1:56.3 triumph in Race 5, and that one’s stablemates Mister J R (1:56.4 – Race 6) and Batting Stats (1:57.2 – Race 7) captured the next two races to give their trainer the training triple. Tyler Moore mapped out the winning trips for those Archer trainees.

It’s now 32 wins and counting on the season for Archer, who watched her seasonal earnings climb past $150,000 in the process. In the midst of her best year to date, Archer has now racked up 70 lifetime wins while banking in excess of $375,000.
