Century Downs Racetrack and Casino has been forced to cancel its live harness racing cards for this weekend.
Both the Saturday (October 8) and Sunday (October 9) programs have been cancelled due to inclement weather and unsafe track conditions. Calgary was hit with a freak snowstorm on Friday and freezing rain Saturday morning.
The Alberta Sires Stakes finals for three-year-olds that were scheduled for today will be raced next Saturday.
Century Downs would like to apologize for any inconvenience.
