In the Green Acres final for freshman pacing colts and geldings, Prince Sharka (by Cams Card Shark) led from start to finish, holding on to edge a fast-closing Caviart Shiloh (by Rocknroll Hanover) by a neck in 1:54.4. Hang Ten (by Western Ideal) finished third.

It was a lifetime best clocking and fourth win in seven starts for the colt, who had swept three preliminary legs of the Green Acres series. The $12,500 winner's share of the purse boosted his earnings to $23,750 for co-owners Charles Maybin of Edison, New Jersey, and trainer Ann DePietro of Freehold, New Jersey.

Babe Per View (by Rocknroll Hanover) won the $25,000 Green Acres Final for the first-year NJ-bred pacing fillies in 1:57.2.

Pantaleano took the filly to the lead at the quarter-mile pole in :27.2, but gave it up to her entry-mate, Southwind Meredith (by Cams Card Shark), who had led at the start. They raced 1-2 in fractions of :57 at the half and 1:26.2 at the three-quarter mile mark. In the stretch, Babe Per View overtook Southwind Meredith to draw away and win over a fast-closing Mikeleh (by Western Ideal). Clear View Hanover (by Western Ideal), finished third, as Southwind Meredith faded to fourth.

It was Babe Per View's first career victory in nine starts. Previously, she had been second in four races and third once. Ron Burke trained Babe Per View for the Perretti Racing Stable of Cream Ridge, New Jersey, who also bred the filly. She has now earned $29,543 in purse money.
