Lake had a near perfect night with his three wins and two seconds on the program.
The Riverdale, Michigan resident started the night on a winning note as four-year-old pacer Northern Beach Girl ($5.00) broke her maiden in 1:57.3. He then swept the late Daily Double with eight-year-old pacing mare Sheza Shinin Sign ($6.00), who earned her second straight victory in 1:55.1, and four-year-old trotter Cadillac Kid ($3.20), who also doubled up with a career-best 1:57.2 victory.
Lake has recorded 14 of his 534 wins this year while banking over $65,000 in purses. Lifetime, he has earned $947,882.
