Lexington Selected Yearling Sale Continues Today

Live video and results are available for the 2026 Lexington Selected Yearling Sale, with the second of four sessions taking place today (Tuesday, Oct. 6) at the Fasig-Tipton Sales Pavilion in Lexington, Kentucky.

The second session gets underway at 11 a.m. and features Hips 131-391.

The 2026 Lexington Selected Yearling Sale got underway on Monday, Oct. 5, with the Walner colt Kountry Prince topping the opening session as he went through the sales ring for $1,178,571 ($825,000 USD). Selling as hip 79, Kountry Prince was purchased by Ake Svanstedt of Wrightstown, New Jersey. Kountry Lane Standardbreds consigned the colt, who is out of world champion Plunge Blue Chip (1:49.4 - $1,596,841), and is a three-quarter brother to the undefeated New York Sire Stakes champion, Kountry Plunge (1:54.1 - $399,827).

The sale will continue on Wednesday with another 11 a.m. session and wrap up on Thursday night at 7 p.m.
