The team of driver Guy Gagnon and trainer Jamie Copley was fired up in a big way during Thursday’s 10-race card at Rideau Carleton Raceway.

Four trips to victory lane throughout the course of the evening was quite the feat for the trainer/driver duo that got the ball rolling with a 1:57.3 triumph in Race 3 with Ziggy Zoom. They came right back to capture Race 4 with Little Macabee in 2:01.4.

Brown Dirt Cowboy gave them a third trip to victory lane thanks to his 1:55.1 triumph in come-from-behind fashion in Race 6. They were right back in Race 7 to take the checkered flag with Stonebridge Focus in 1:54.

Copley is just four wins away from matching last year’s win total of 83. His 79-win season include purse earnings in excess of $360,000 and a flashy UTR of .385. He currently sits atop the trainers’ leader board for wins at Rideau Carleton Raceway.

Gagnon is also just a handful of wins behind last year’s totals. He’s five wins away from hitting 152 for the second straight season, and his purse earnings of $641,575 give him 18 consecutive years of banking over $500,000.
