It was a sweet win for Shelikescandy, who finished a neck in front of Ill Bring Dessert in the $25,000 New Jersey Sire Stakes – Green Acres Final for two-year-old trotting fillies on Friday, October 4 at Freehold Raceway.
The two daughters of Chocolatier finished seven lengths ahead of Muscle Pump Queen, who was third in the non-wagering event contested prior to the betting card.
Shelikescandy covered the mile in 2:01.2, a career best, for her second win along with a second and two thirds in six starts.
Steve Smith drove the filly for trainer Nifty Norman, whose Enzed Racing Stable of Allentown, NJ is the owner. Shelikescandy has banked $31,449.
