Expose Yourself turned back the determined challenge of Youre Majestic and went on to a comfortable victory — her second straight — in Wednesday’s (Oct. 31) $18,000 Fillies and Mares Preferred Handicap Trot at The Meadows.
Expose Yourself seemed secure on the lead after a soft :29.4 second panel, but when Youre Majestic — who was jumping up two classes after a pair of victories — came at her, the four-year-old daughter of Kadabra and Muscle Shirt was forced to dig in. Expose Yourself edged clear through the final turn and drew off late for Dave Palone to down Expose Yourself by 1-1/4 lengths in 1:54.2. The pocket-sitting Glidinthruparadise completed the ticket.
Ron Burke trains Expose Yourself, who triumphed for the fourth time in her last six starts and extended her career bankroll to $145,561, for Burke Racing Stable and Weaver Bruscemi LLC.
Mike Wilder collected three wins on the 13-race card.
