Autumn Series eligible Boozer Bruiser fit in a winning prep race on Friday night's program at Woodbine Racetrack, pulling off the biggest upset of the night at odds of 25-1.

The two-year-old pacing filly is entered in the first leg of the Autumn Series, set for Monday night at Woodbine. That series is for Ontario-sired fillies that are non-winners of $30,000 lifetime as of Sept. 30, 2015.

In her Friday night assignment, a $17,000 conditioned event for non-winners of two races or $26,000 lifetime, Boozer Bruiser split through horses late off a pocket trip to win in 1:55.4. She defeated three-year-old filly Classic Comedy and four-year-old mare Arrivista Hanover.

Arrivista Hanover had led the field through panels of :28.1, :57.2 and 1:26.2 with Classic Comedy challenging first over before Boozer Bruiser came through to pull off the surprise win.

The Gerald Mijal-homebred, who started her career competing in the Ontario Sires Stakes Grassroots program, now has two wins in nine starts and over $24,000 in purse earnings. She is trained by Louie Eftimiadis.

Boozer Bruiser had not raced since the Sept. 17 Grassroots Semi-Finals and was entering the race off a 2:00.3 qualifying mile from last week's session at Mohawk.

The Believeinbruiser filly paid $52.50 to win.
