Favourites Unabating ($2.70) and Wildcat Cam ($5.90) each delivered winning performances in Sunday night's co-featured Winners Over events at Rideau Carleton Raceway.

Unabating was a repeat victor in the $6,800 Winners Over Handicap Trot, with Guy Gagnon reunited with the eight-year-old gelded son of Broadway Hall and Malabar Memories. Louis-Philippe Roy put the Gerard Demers trainee on the front last week, but Gagnon opted for a different approach after getting away sixth off the gate this time out during a :27.2 first quarter. Unabating progressed first-over through a :56.4 half to confront race leader Maximus Deo at the 1:26.2 third quarter mark. He then kicked clear turning for home to win in 1:57.1, with Raising Richard finishing one length behind out of the pocket and Torches Angel coming on for third.

Unabating now has a dozen wins from 26 starts this year and has collected $52,118 in purses for owner Catheline Pelletier of Mirabel, Que.

Wildcat Cam prevailed in his return to Rideau's $6,950 Winners Over Handicap Pace for the first time since June. Following up a victory at Flamboro Downs last week, he now sports back-to-back, career-best 1:54.3 wins for trainer Jamie Copley and co-owner Ryan Copley of Kenmore, Ont.

Driven by Brett MacDonald, Wildcat Cam worked to the lead through a :27.3 opening quarter and reached the half in :57 half before fighting off Kyles Secret past the 1:25.3 third quarter mark to prevail over that rival by half a length. Ultimate Beachboy finished two lengths behind in third.

The five-year-old Camluck-Armbro Champagne gelding now has five wins from 20 starts this year and seasonal earnings of $22,430.
