Keith Clark trainees Comeshomeearly and Prairie Illusion swept a pair of $25,000 Premier Filly Pace divisions for two-year-old Alberta owned, sired or foaled fillies on Sunday afternoon at Northlands Park

Inside starter Comeshomeearly and Clark settled into the two-hole as Post 6 outsider Cloud Nine (Gerry Hudon), the Alberta Sires Stakes Super Final winner last weekend, fired to command and posted opening fractions :28.2 and :58.4.
Down the backstretch, Clark sent the Brandons Cowboy-Cinderella Cam filly to command and was on top by two lengths at the 1:28.4 third quarter mark. Comeshomeearly spun into the stretch and was home free with three lengths to spare at the wire in 1:58.3. Popcorn (Jamie Gray) and Outlaw Pot Of Gold (Connie Kolthammer) came on for second and third.
The 3-5 favourite paid $3 to win. Clark shares ownership of the three-time winner, who was making her 11th career start, with Glenn Retzlaff of Fort Saskatchewan, Alta. The Alberta Sires Stakes Super Final Consolation winner has banked $34,143 to date.
Prairie Illusion fired to command from Post 6 in the second division featuring a seven-horse field and cruised past panels of :27.4, :59.3 and 1:29.1 en route to the 1:59.4 triumph. Cool One (Don Monkman Jr.) finished three-quarters of a length behind off a pocket trip and 41-1 longshot G I Joan (Gerry Clark) rallied home from the backfield to show. The winner's stablemate, Double L Cammie (Bobby Clark), rallied three-wide off cover to finish fourth.
Prairie Illusion paid $2.20 to win as part of the 1-9 favoured entry. The daughter of Mach Three-Twin B Magical, an Emerald Filly division winner earlier this year, is owned by Clark, Robert Jones of Slave Lake, Alta., and Doris McDougall of Cochrane, Alta. She is now four-for-seven with 30,146 earned.
