Rideau Carleton Raceway will be a hotspot over the next two weekends. The richest card in the track's history is set for Sunday with the Ontario Sires Stakes Grassroots Finals, followed by the $25,000 Trot Canada National Handicapping Championship the
weekend after.
Trot Radio's Norm Borg speaks to Terry Lantz, Director of Racing for Rideau about the track's big night set for Sunday as well as owner Glenn Bechtel, who was a vested interest in both events. Bechtel, of Kingston, Ont., co-owns a number of entrants in Sunday's lucrative stakes and is also one of the fortunate few who qualified for the TCNHC final.
