Kendal Hills Stud Farm has announced two new stallions to Ontario for the 2010 breeding season.

Electric Stena p,4, 1:48.3s ($1,110,504) and Bertos Dream 4,1:54.4s ($214,553) have both recently arrived at the Campbellcroft, Ontario farm.

At age three, Electric Stena, a son of the great Cam Fella, won the James B. Dancer Memorial at Freehold, as well as a division of the Simcoe Stakes at Mohawk Racetrack. He was a multiple Open pace winner as an aged horse and took a mark of 1:48.3. He also finished third in the final of the 2002 Canadian Pacing Derby behind Real Desire and Four Starzzzz Shark. As a stallion his progeny have earned over $2.1 million and include former World Record holder Esmeralda Semalu p, 1:49.4f ($303,289).

Bertos Dream will become only the second son of the great Garland Lobell to stand in Ontario (the other is Angus Hall). A solid performer on the racetrack, he won races every year from age two through six and retired with a mark of 1:54.4. He bred his first book of mares in Quebec in 2008.
