Daniel Poliseno’s Man About Town ($11.80, Tony Morgan) scored a mild upset in the $20,000 Open Trot at Harrington Raceway in 1:55.2.

Trained by Tony Poliseno, the nine-year-old Self Possessed gelding was the recipient of a pocket trip behind favourite Allmar Surprise throughout fractions of :28, :57.1 and 1:26.2. In the stretch, Man About Town edged clear of the favourite to win by a half-length. Cash On Delivery was third.

Allmar Surprise had won her last two races. Man About Town notched his 22nd career win and boosted his lifetime bankroll to more than $821,000.

Driver Tony Morgan continued to have the hot hand with four more wins, giving him 16 over the last three days. Harrington’s leading driver, Ross Wolfenden, had three wins. George Dennis and Victor Kirby each won two races.
