According to an article on mpbn.net, members of the Maine Harness Horsemen's Association have complained to the state's harness racing commission that tracks need to offer more live racing dates for the 2010 campaign
.
In the report, the horsemen's association executive director, Chandler Woodcock, is quoted as saying that local horsemen will not have enough opportunities to race between December 2009 and April 2010.
More meetings are upcoming and Woodcock has stated that talks with the tracks are currently underway.
