It has been estimated that two paintings depicting equine could each garner bids of roughly $3.5-million in an upcoming Christie’s auction in New York.
According to a report by horsetalk.co.nz, the paintings will be up for auction on November 5.
‘Au Cirque,’ a painting by Marc Chagall, currently holds a pre-auction estimate of between $2.5-million and $3.5-million.
‘Hest I Landskap,’ by Edvard Munch, also holds a pre-auction estimate of between $2.5-million and $3.5-million.
