Heist moved effortlessly three-wide down the backside and rolled to his third straight victory in Tuesday’s (Oct. 25) co-feature, a $10,900 conditioned trot, at Hollywood Casino at The Meadows.

The 1-5 favourite Heist was sitting fifth when Dan Charlino sent the three-year-old son of Father Patrick-Miss Paris after the leader, Pose A Threat. Heist cleared easily and defeated that rival by 2-3/4 lengths in a career-best 1:57.2, with Dynamite Lover third.

Scott Betts trains Heist for Tim Betts, Tar Heel Racing, and Shanamphilankilou.

In Tuesday’s other $10,900 co-features, Harmony Of Notes threw down a :27.3 final panel and scored convincingly in a filly & mare conditioned pace for Mike Wilder, trainer Dane Snyder and owners Danielle Snyder and Kristine Kash. Winning time was 1:54.2, a lifetime mark for Harmony Of Notes.

Dry Ridge Cutie (Sunfire Blue Chip-Manhattan Design) yielded the lead briefly at the three-quarters but reasserted in the lane to take a filly & mare conditioned pace in a career-fastest 1:54.4 for Aaron Merriman, trainer Bill Rhoades and owner Randy Ringer.

Dave Palone collected three wins on the 12-race card.

Live racing at The Meadows continues Wednesday when the 12-race program features a pair of carryovers: $9,311.09 in the final-race Super Hi-5, $5,045.64 in the Jackpot Pick 5 (Race 4). First post is 12:45 p.m.
