Crucial Weekend For Fantasy Stable

The stakes are high heading into 2019 Breeders Crown weekend, not just for the participants competing on Friday and Saturday at Woodbine Mohawk Park but also for the participants vying for the top prize in the 2019 TROT Magazine Fantasy Stable.

With all 12 of the 2019 Breeders Crown Championship finals taking place on Oct. 25 and 26 at Woodbine Mohawk Park, the Hambletonian Society and TROT Magazine have teamed up this year to present the sixth annual edition of the TROT Magazine Fantasy Stable contest.

The contest is based on total earnings of selected horses and five percent of the earnings of selected trainers and drivers between May 18 and December 31, 2019. For the purposes of the fantasy bankroll, as in past years, the winners (horses only) of the 2019 Breeders Crown Finals will each receive a $200,000 contest bankroll bonus.

Here are the horses competing in the 2019 Breeders Crown finals, listed by division:

  • Two-Year-Old Filly Trot - Violet Stride

  • Two-Year-Old Filly Pace - Baby Your The Best

  • Two-Year-Old Colt Trot - Synergy, Chestnut Hill, Third Shift

  • Two-Year-Old Colt Pace - Capt Midnight, Tall Dark Stranger

  • Open Mare Pace - Shartin N, Kendall Seelster, Caviart Ally, Youaremycandygirl, Kissin In The Sand

  • Open Mare Trot - Plunge Blue Chip, Manchego, Hannelore Hanover, Custom Cantab, Emoticon Hanover

  • Three-Year-Old Filly Trot - The Ice Dutchess, When Dovescry

  • Three-Year-Old Filly Pace - Tall Drink Hanover, Warrawee Ubeaut, Queen Of The Pride

  • Open Pace - Jimmy Freight, American History, Courtly Choice, Always A Prince, Dorsoduro Hanover, McWicked, Filibuster Hanover, This Is The Plan

  • Three-Year-Old Colt Trot - Green Manalishi S, Gimpanzee, Forbidden Trade

  • Three-Year-Old Colt Pace - Captain Crunch, Bettors Wish, Semi Tough, Bronx Seelster

  • Open Trot - Will Take Charge, Fiftydallarbill, Atlanta, Six Pack, Marion Marauder

The Breeders Crown finals could play a key role in determining the 2019 Fantasy Stable winner. The top two stables are only $20,000 apart and each stable will be cheering for different Breeders Crown contenders.

The winner of the 2019 TROT Fantasy Stable will be awarded a spot in the 2020 World Harness Handicapping Championship plus a $500 travel voucher.
