Jojo N Goliath Takes Meadows Preferred

Oblivious to the sloppy conditions, the first-over Jojo N Goliath blistered the back half in :54.4 en route to a convincing 10-1 victory in Monday’s $22,500 Preferred Handicap

Moving from fourth for Brett Miller, Jojo N Goliath wore down the leader, Johnny Z, and cleared near the three-quarters before drawing off to triumph by 2-1/4 lengths in 1:51.1. Pedro Island and Roadway each shot the Lightning Lane to be second and third, respectively.

Paul Kennedy trains Jojo N Goliath, a four-year-old Keystone Raider-Jo Jo Cadet gelding who was won 10 races and $149,845 this year, for Daniel and Thomas Courtemanche.

Miller and Tony Hall each drove four winners on the 15-race card.
