A quartet of pacing fillies lined up behind the starting gate at St. John’s Raceway on Sunday afternoon to contest the NLSBA/Standardbred Canada Stake for two and three-year-olds, and Our Ryall Flush turned out to be a much-the-best winner in the $3,000 affair

.

Paired up with Shane Forward, Our Ryall Flush led through fractions of :32, 1:06.1 and 1:39 before using a :31.2 final frame to seal the deal by 4-1/4 lengths. Farmers Gal, one of two rookies in the group, was second best. Third prize went to V, the other sophomore in the field.

Our Ryall Flush, a three-year-old daughter of Toofunnyforwords-Ma Parker, is owned and trained by Carl Ryall of Goulds, NL. It was the third consecutive victory for the filly, who is 10-for-21 this season.

Trainer Scott Forward put together a productive day at the office thanks to a three-win performance. He watched the 14-year-old gelding Acme Dynamite (2:12) take the opener followed by wins with Treasure Me Flurry (2:05.2) in Race 6 and Dusty Lane Zoe (2:04.4) in Race 8.
