Harrington Raceway's 69th season of live harness racing came to a close Thursday afternoon with a 15-race program.

End of meet honours were presented to familiar faces for the leading driver and trainer.

Allan Davis, won his second straight driving title with 150 wins at the meet and is on pace for his best year yet as he looks to close out with his third consecutive year with more than 300 wins. Davis is the son of local driving legend Eddie Davis, who won more than 8,000 races in his career.

Trainer Wayne Givens recorded his third straight training title. The 65-year-old conditioner and native of nearby Seaford, Del., has enjoyed eight straight seasons with more than $1.1 million annually in purses.

Three-time former driving champ Ross Wolfenden closed out the meet in strong fashion with four wins.

Racing in Delaware now shifts approximately 20 miles north to Dover Downs, which opens their meet on November 2.

Live racing at Harrington will resume in April of 2016.
