Three horses in-to-go, and three winners. That was the story for trainer Sue Gangell during Thursday evening’s 10-race program at Woodbine Racetrack

Gangell trekked to the Rexdale, ON oval and batted 1.000 – a feat that helped her inch closer to hitting $3 million in lifetime earnings.

The Simcoe, ON horsewoman watched Passion Quizrace (1:54) go gate-to-wire in Race 2 for driver J.R. Plante. She then joined forces with driver Sylvain Filion and wound up sweeping the Late Double with Watoozie Girl (1:54.1) and Frozen In Love (1:54.1.).

The three-win performance boosted Gangell’s 2010 win total to 52 while hear yearly earnings surpassed $370,000. She’s less than $25,000 away from surpassing $3 million in career earnings.
