Michael Horn and Alexander Rice, Jr.’s Allwillworkout was a 1:52.1 winner in the $20,000 Open Monday at Harrington Raceway.

The five-year-old Western Terror gelding made an aggressive first-over move for driver Jon Roberts and quickly opened up a four-length lead on the field near the three-quarters. Dialamara, at 77-to-1, closed ground late for second and Little Ben outkicked Highland Beach Boy for third.

Trained by Rice, Allwillworkout notched his sixth win of the season and 22nd of his career. He paid $26 to win.

After the sixth race, George Leager’s Slick Tony was presented with horse of the meet honours, as voted on by the Delaware Valley Chapter of the United States Harness Writers Association. Trained by Leager, the four-year-old No Spin Zone stallion had eight wins in 14 starts at the meet, and banked nearly $100,000, the most of any overnight horse at the meet. He was driven throughout the season by Russell Foster.

Tony Morgan had three wins on the card. Ross Wolfenden, Allan Davis and Roberts each had a double.

While Art Stafford, Jr. has an insurmountable lead in the drivers’ standings, the training title is still up for grabs as reigning champ Joe Columbo maintains a three-win lead over Mike Hall with two nights remaining.
