Driver Stephane Gendron enjoyed a productive evening in the sulky on Sunday winning five of the 12 races at Rideau Carleton Raceway.
Gendron teamed up with Rideau's leading trainer Jamie Copley for three of this victories aboard Salute ($3.60), Marina Desbi ($3.60) and Shanghai B G ($4.90). The Quebec reinsman also drove winners Delirante ($26.20) for trainer Andre Perreault and If I Remember ($4.90) for Ron Stewart.
Gendron's five-bagger leaves him just 10 wins behind Rideau's leading driver Denis St Pierre. He has won 117 races at the Ottawa oval this season.
