Rainbowinthewest peeled off cover through the final turn and roared by pacesetter Tequila Talkin to capture Wednesday’s (Oct. 2) feature at The Meadows, a $13,500 conditioned trot.
Rainbowinthewest was following the live cover of Kates Massive until Brady Brown asked her for go in the lane. The four-year-old daughter of Andover Hall and Miss Milwaukee responded beautifully, downing Tequila Talkin by 2-1/2 lengths in a career-best 1:53.4, while Kates Massive saved show.
Robert Rougeaux III trains Rainbowinthewest, who extended her career earnings to $128,271, for Brocious Racing Stable and Lone Wolf Stable.
Tony Hall collected three wins on the 13-race program.
Live racing at The Meadows resumes Saturday (Oct. 5), when the card features the $200,000 Pennsylvania Fair finals as well as the annual Pink Out to benefit the American Cancer Society. First post is 1:05 p.m.
